The insurance issue with EPS panels
EPS panels used extensively in the industry for over 40 years have come under close scrutiny from certain sections of the insurance industry.
Unfortunately some sections of the insurance industry have deemed the use of EPS panels in some traditional applications to be inappropriate.
The insurance companies are now beginning to soften their stance a little.
What is the solution or options?
Poly Panel Industries (Aust) Pty Ltd has invested a great deal of time and money in relation to researching alternative products that can be used in high fire risk applications.
New and previously little known core materials such as Mineral Wool and Polyisocyanurate (PIR) are available where EPS panels cannot be utilized.

Like some other panel manufacturers we have put in place competitive commercial arrangements with specialist panel manufacturers so we can offer different core types.
This enables us to offer you a cost effective solution where fire rated panels have been stipulated and we can concentrate on our core EPS production.
EPS will always have a place in our market and continues to be the preferred product in many instances.
